Democratic and Republican primaries. Polls open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Find your polling place at scvotes.gov.

  • Register by: May 10, 2026 (online / email / fax); May 8 in person; May 11 postmark if by mail
  • Early voting: May 26 – June 5, 2026 (weekdays 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  • Runoff (if needed): June 23, 2026 · early voting June 17 – 18
General

Statewide General Election Day

Vote for Congress, statewide offices, and local races on the ballot. Polls open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  • Register by: early October 2026 (check scvotes.gov for exact deadlines)
  • Early voting: October 19 – 31, 2026 (typically 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; closed Sunday)
  • Absentee: apply ahead of Election Day through your county elections office

    Early voting June 17–18 · Runoff Election Day June 23, 2026.

    General Election Day
